We’ve moved! We are now located on 34 Abbott Street in Brewer. Our hair studio has expanded and parking is abundant. Stop in and say hello, or call to set up an appointment with one of our stylists.
Welcome to Roots hair studio on the web! Whether you are visiting us for the first time or are one of our loyal customers, it is our goal to make you feel like our only customer!
As the manager of Roots, I’ve worked in top salons in New York City and owned small town salons all over Maine. I’ve seen what makes a successful salon and what breaks one.
I have 25 years of experience and I’ve trained with the big guru’s in the hair industry and only allow stylists of the same integrity to work at Roots.

- We are your "innovative" salon.
- We are a salon that gives you "options".
- We dress the part and have the "attitude", but stick to our "virtues" while keeping the integrity of your hair in mind.
- Our stylists can "master" any cut or color.
- We use our "scissor excitement" and share our "inspirations", but listen to yours.
- We give a "defining design".
|
- We add our own "special effects".
- We treat you and make you feel like the "Bella" of the ball.
- We do not specialize in just Paul Mitchell, Redken, or Aveda; instead we carry our own opinion of the best products the whole industry has to offer.
- We are locally owned by our very own Eric "John".

|
All of the reasons listed above will hopefully "factor" into trusting us when it comes to all your hair needs. We many seem like another "studio", but we aren’t.
Roots hair studio and its entirety has the utmost respect for all businesses and companies within our industry and means no disrespect by the opinions stated on this website.
